SOUVENIR

Competition entry for Hohen Fläming Art Trail, with V. Schätzlein, 2009
Signs with texts printed on them are placed upon prominent landmarks along the art trail, including trees, boulders, hunting blinds, buildings, and walls. Formally, these signs are based on classic hiking trail markers.
The texts provide information on various aspects of the landscape and culture of Hohen Fläming. Included are literary quotes; observations on nature; scientific texts from the realms of geology, history, botany, and zoology; local history tracts; and linguistic impressions of the Fläming dialect.
